05.11.2007 - GET THOSE MOBILES OUT AND MEET FFAF

We've got a brand new tour competition for you to get your teeth into. If you're going to one of the live dates then we want you to use your mobile phones to record your favourite moment from the show. Upload your clip to http://www.zupload.com and send the link to ffaf@atlanticrecords.co.uk - the best clips will be uploaded to www.youtube.com/funeraltube alongside the band’s own tour clips in a special tour fan section.

Not only that, we're giving you the chance to meet the band before the show to ask them one interview question and film it on your mobile. We’ll be compiling all the questions for a special interview at the end of the tour. Remember, it’s the most original and intelligent questions that will win the chance to meet the boys. Think of something that people will really be interested in finding out and you should keep it relevant to the album and the new songs. Asking if Matt & Gareth are brothers probably won’t get you very far. One person will win the chance for 2 people to meet the band and ask their question at every gig on the tour. You will have to already have a ticket for the show you are applying for.

Post your question in the folder relating to the gig you are going to and watch this space for an announcement on the winners. Names will be drawn as the tour goes on and you will be notified through the forum so please be sure to check back regularly. Sunday’s winner in Bristol will be drawn tomorrow so get your entries in ASAP!

05.10.2007 - FFAF LYRICS COMPETITION

We know all you FFAF fans are passionate about music and equally passionate about the lyrics that you sing till your lungs collapse.

We’re giving you the opportunity to show us this passion through a very unique and interactive competition. This is how it’s gonna work…

Over the next five weeks we're going to post snippets from 2 tracks a week (Mondays and Thursdays) from the new Funeral album. These clips will coincide with a key lyric from the song and we want YOU to use that lyric as a starting point to compose your own short story, song, poem in 100 words or less. Each week the best story / song / poem for each song will be chosen by the band.

Winners will receive signed framed artwork from the new album! Once we have our winners for each track, the VERY best one will win a meet and greet with the band after one of the European tour gigs, all flight and hotels paid for!

The competition is open to all UK FFAF fans, so get those creative juices following to see what you come up with! For full details and how to enter HERE
